Carlos Garcia, Sr. was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1985 and founded the firm in 1992. He served more than fifteen years on the board of directors of International Finance Bank, a Coral Gables commercial bank — including as Vice Chairman — and brings a credit committee’s view to the closing table. He represents commercial lenders, real estate investors, and corporate borrowers in the structuring and closing of Florida transactions — acquisitions, loan documentation, title, and multi-entity structures.

Carlos J. Garcia concentrates on the firm’s commercial lending and closing practice, with particular emphasis on multi-lender facilities, cross-collateral structures, intercreditor agreements, the Article 9 collateral work on business-asset credits, and the closing packages institutional lenders require. In matters where the firm is not engaged as lender’s counsel, he represents borrowers, investors, and operating principals. He also handles the firm’s vessel and aircraft financing work.
